How to Make
Step 1: Crush Oreos
There are a few ways to crush your Oreos. You can use a freezer bag and crush with a rolling pin. You can also chop them with a knife, or use one or two pulses on a food processor.
If you crush them too much they will make a perfectly smooth and dark grey dip rather than a chunky cookie filled dip.
Step 2: Make Cheesecake Dip
In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
Mix until smooth and combined, about 1-2 minutes. At this point, the cream cheese mixture can be made up to 1 day in advance. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
Step 3: Combine and Enjoy!
When ready to serve, gently fold in the defrosted whipped topping or whipped cream and crushed Oreo cookies. Serve immediately or chilled with fun dippers such as animal crackers, strawberries, or more Oreo cookies.
