Oreo Dip
This delicious Oreo Dip is a sweet cookies and cream dessert dip with only 5 ingredients that can be made in 10 minutes!

block cream cheese
1 block, room temperature

salted butter

whipped toppings such as Cool Whip

crushed Oreo Cookies
plus more for topping and serving
Instructions
Gently crush the Oreo cookies, making sure it is not too fine. You want some large chunks of cookies.
In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
Mix until, smooth and combined, about 1-2 minutes.
Gently folded in thawed whipped topping, along with the crushed cookies.
Top with additional crushed cookies if desired, and serve along with fruit, cookies, and other dippers. Enjoy!
Notes
If using unsalted butter,
you can add a pinch of salt to help cut the sweetness.
Make sure your butter and cream cheese are softened
or at room temperature or else they won’t combine properly.
You can use whipped cream in place of thawed whipped topping
if desired.
If you want a chunky cookie filled dip, don’t crush up the Oreos too much.
The finer the cookies, the darker and smoother the dip.
To keep the cookies crunchy,
mix in cookies and whipped topping right before serving.
The sweet dessert dip will turn more gray in color as it sits,
but will still taste delicious.
This recipe makes about 2 cups of dip and can be halved or doubled.
