These Peeps Cookies are decorated with frosting and sanding sugar for a simple and fun Easter Peeps sugar cookie!

Ingredients
Cut Out Sugar Cookies
baked and cooled, cut out using peeps cookie cutters
American Buttercream Frosting
colored yellow, blue, purple, and/or pink
Sanding Sugar
yellow, light blue, purple, and/or pink
Black Sugar Pears
Instructions
Pipe or spread the coloring frosting onto the baked and cooled cut out sugar cookies.
If desired, smooth out the frosting using a offset spatula or knife.
Gently press the frosted side of the cookies into a shallow bowl or plate of sanding sugar. Remove from the sugar, and brush off any excess.
Add eyes and mouth using black sugar pearls or dots of melted chocolate. Enjoy!
