ake a tablespoon or two of cotton candy and flatten it out by gently pulling the cotton candy apart.
Add about 1/8 tsp of edible glitter in the middle of the cotton candy.
Fold up the sides and then gently roll the cotton candy into a ball, so it is tightly closed and the glitter can not leak out.
You can also use small silicone molds or cookie cutter to shape the cotton candy by pressing the cotton candy into the mold, adding the glitter, topping with more cotton candy, and gently removing from the mold.
Add to drinks such as champagne or sparkling cider, stir to dissolve, and enjoy!
Notes
Be sure to use edible-grade glitter.
Make sure all your utensils and your hands are very dry. Any moisture will melt the cotton candy.
These will last up to a week stored in an airtight container. Any moisture or air can cause the cotton candy to melt or dry out.
The color of the drinks depends mainly on the color of edible glitter you use.
