Chocolate Chip Dip

Sometimes called chocolate chip cheesecake dip, this chocolate chip dip is an easy dessert dip, perfect for BBQs, potlucks, and holidays.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese 1 block, softened
  • ¼ cup butter softened
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar packed
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Pinch salt omit if using salted butter
  • 1 cup chocolate chips mini or regular

Instructions

  • In a large bowl add the softened cream cheese, softened butter, powdered sugar, brown sugar, salt, and vanilla.
  • Mix until creamy, about 1-2 minutes. Scrape down the sides of the bowl with a spatula as necessary.
  • Gently fold in the chocolate chips using a spatula.
  • Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • Enjoy with strawberries, vanilla wafers, and cookies!

Notes

  • This recipe makes about 2 cups of dip and can easily be halved for a small batch or doubled for a large batch. 
  • This recipe will last up to two days stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
