Foolproof French Macarons

MEASURE INGREDIENTS

Measure out all your ingredients using a kitchen scale.

Sift together the powdered sugar and almond flour and set aside.

WISK EGG WHITES/SUGAR

Add your egg whites, salt, and sugar into the bowl of a standing mixer with a whisk attachment and mix.

This is the process of folding together the egg whites and almond/powdered sugar mix.

Fill a pastry bag with a large tip with macaron batter and pipe 1 inch circles on parchment or a silicone mat

BAKE MACARONS

Bake for 17-19 minutes, or until you can lift a macaron without it sticking.

FILL MACARONS

Once cooled, line up the shells and add your favorite filling to the bottom shell and sandwich with the top  shell.
