Crostini

Crostini is the perfect party appetizer and so easy to make. Made by slicing and toasting bread - crostinis are great with meat, cheese, dips, or a variety of sweet and savory spreads! With endless topping choices this simple recipe makes dinner parties and holiday entertaining a breeze!

Ingredients

  • 1 baguette
  • ¼ cup olive oil or melted butter
  • Kosher or sea salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  • Slice baguette into ½ inch slices and place on a baking tray
  • Brush both sides of each slice with olive oil and sprinkle with salt
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes, checking halfway to make sure they are evenly browning. If not, flip each crostini over and bake a few more minutes to desired brownness.
  • Let cool and top with desired crostini toppings or serve with cheese or dips

Notes

Can be stored at room temperature in an airtight container for 2-3 days.
