Instructions

Piped Ghost Cupcakes

  • Place the frosting a pipe bag fitting with a large tip. You can also use a ziplock bag with a tip cut off.
  • Pipe a large amount of frosting onto a cupcake.
  • Add eyes and that’s it!

Melted Chocolate Ghost Cupcakes

  • Melt white chocolate or candy melts according to package instructions. While melted, use a spoon or offset spatula to spread the melted chocolate in the shape of a ghost on a piece of parchment or wax paper, making sure to taper one end into a slightly sharper edge (so you can stick it into a cupcake).
  • If adding sprinkles or candy eyes, add while the chocolate is still melted. Otherwise, all the chocolate to dry and add gel or melted chocolate as eyes.
  • Spread frosting on a cupcake in an even layer. Then dip the frosted part of the cupcake in the crushed cookies so they cover the entire surface.
  • Place the dried chocolate ghost into the top of the cupcake..

Floating Ghost Cupcakes

  • Add some frosting onto a cupcake and add a large marshmallow. You can also use a lollipop pressed into the cupcake.
  • Then, roll out some fondant and cut into large circles. Place the fondant circles over the marshmallow and press until it gets to a shape you like.
  • Add on your eyes using melted chocolate or dark frosting.

Notes

  • You can use your favorite cupcake and frosting recipe for these cupcakes, and store bought cupcakes work great too!
  • Be sure to keep any leftover fondant wrapped in plastic or an airtight container so it doesn't dry out.
